COVID-19 Update Dec. 21, 2021

Murrieta Ranch Pre-School & Kindergarten COVID-19 Update
December 21, 2020

We would like to begin this update by letting you know that this was not an easy decision for us to make, but we feel we must do what is safest for our staff and the families at the school. Due to the current rise in COVID-19 numbers right here in our community, we have decided to be proactive and close the school for the weeks of December 28 thru January 1 and January 4-8.

We know many families will be gathering over the holidays and with the predicted rise in cases, along with what we are already seeing in our community, we feel this is the safest preventative decision we can make. This will give time for families to make sure there have been no COVID exposures or active cases after the holiday. We know this is a challenging time for everyone, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility in working with us to do what’s safest for everyone to stay healthy.

Tuition/Vacation Changes:
Week of December 28 thru January 1: We already have many families who will be taking vacation during this week. For all families who did not take vacation credit, you can fill out a vacation form this week (or when you return) and we will give you one week of vacation credit. Or, you can choose to “pay it forward” and keep the vacation for another time.

Week of January 4-8:  ALL FAMILIES will receive a week of “extra vacation credit”. You will not need to fill out a slip for this week and it will not count toward your annual weeks of vacation credit. No tuition will be charged for this week.
Please check for communication from Murrieta Ranch the week of January 4and we will update you on any new information we have regarding current COVID-19 changes. As of now, the plan is to be open Monday, January 11.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART to help us keep everyone safe and healthy here at Murrieta Ranch! If you are traveling over this time, please keep your child home for one week after you return from any vacations. If you have ANY chance of exposure or ANYONE around you is showing possibly symptoms of COVID, please keep your child home until you are sure it is safe to return. If your child has any symptoms of a cold, the flu, or COVID, please do not send them to school. It’s up to all of us to keep each other as safe as possible during this time. We look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks and we wish you a healthy and happy holiday time.

We want to hear from you, please call the office, leave a telephone message and we will get back to them as soon as we can.
