Welcome to Murrieta Ranch!
Waiting List Update
Regarding the 2020/2021 School Year
This is specifically addressed to our “Waiting List Families.”
Unfortunately, we have had to STOP creating our classrooms for August 2020/21 due to Covid-19.
Under normal circumstances we would have begun calling our Waiting List Families to notify you of your child’s placement. Because of the Covid-19, Pre-School Regulations it has been impossible to create classrooms based on the traditional numbers. Traditional classroom size is 2 teachers with 24 children. The current Covid-19 classroom size is 1 teacher with 12 children. Being totally frank, “At this time I don’t want to assume we will back to traditional numbers in August. If I promised you placement and then the State requires we stay on Covid-19 numbers classroom sizes would have to be lowered significantly.”
With this said, we are in a holding pattern and my hope would be that by sometime in June or early July we will have a confirmed idea of what Public and Private School Openings will look like.
For the health and safety of ALL CONCERNED wouldn’t it be a wonderful world if we could all feel secure enough and move back to normal sooner than later?
It is with sincere gratitude that I thank you for being patient and understanding while we all are
“A WORLD TOGETHER AT HOME.”
Coronavirus Latest Update:
Being totally frank, “I have sat down to create an update several times throughout the last 4 weeks. Each time I found myself speculating never being able to commit to any possible reopening information much less a specific date. Therefore, I ended up hesitating to say anything due to the daily changes regarding social distancing and stay at home orders.”
Dear Murrieta Ranch Families,
During these challenging times where we are all dealing with the fear, stress, and ramifications brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to keep you apprised on the status of the school. After carefully considering a number of factors, the difficult decision was made to remain closed until further notice. As much as we want to be a childcare resource for parents with essential jobs, the reality is that a majority of families will not be returning during this current school year even upon our re-opening. With the national coronavirus case numbers set to peak within 2-4 weeks, pleas from the Sheriff’s Department for the population to “just stay home,” and wanting to abide by official agency guidelines, it would be contradictory for us to re-open at this time. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but under the circumstances where statistics and mandates are rapidly changing even on a daily basis, the decision to remain closed is the right one. The health and safety of our staff and families is paramount as we strive to flatten the curve; however, we want to assure you that we will be re-opening in the future when it is more advisable to do so. We continue to be grateful for your support, and we eagerly anticipate better days when the crisis has passed. You remain in our thoughts and prayers as we stand strong and persevere through these tough trials.
Warmly Cindy and the Family

Sorry, tours are NOT available during school closure.
Please come meet us, and get on our waiting list.
We recommend getting on our wait list when your child turns 2. Once enrollment is full, we enroll throughout the year as space becomes available.
